1200 x 800 mm — why this is the most common size

1200 x 800 mm is the European pallet size, commonly called EUR size. 20-foot and 40-foot containers, box trucks, and most industrial rack systems are designed according to this size.

The practical result: goods stacked on 1200 x 800 pallets fit containers with almost no wasted space, shipment counts per vehicle are easy to calculate, and when exporting, partners do not need to re-palletize. If your warehouse has not standardized pallet sizes, this is the recommended standard.

Nine cup feet — forklift entry from all four sides

Unlike the 3-foot model which uses three longitudinal support beams, this model has nine separate feet. The gaps between feet run continuously in both directions, allowing manual pallet jacks and electric forklifts to enter from all four sides.

In tight warehouses or narrow aisles, operators do not need to rotate the pallet to find the correct orientation — speeding up handling and reducing collisions. When empty, the nine cup feet allow pallets to be stacked compactly in a warehouse corner.

Height 140 mm — lower than the 3-foot model

The 3-foot pallet 1200 x 800 is 150 mm high, this model is 140 mm high. The 10 mm difference may seem small but stacking five or six pallets adds up to 5–6 cm — enough to matter in containers or low-ceiling warehouses.

The 140 mm height still provides enough clearance for standard manual pallet jack forks.

Which plastic type to choose

Using the same mold but different materials. All three types produce pallets with exact dimensions 1200 x 800 x 140 mm:

• Black recycled (type 3): black recycled PP plastic, lowest price. Choose when pallets remain stationary in dry warehouses, goods are handled by manual pallet jack, and pallets are not exposed to sun or rain.
